My brother had some hits and I had just signed a record deal. I wrote that song with two other people: Wayne Rodriguez - he was like a hip-hop beats guy - and Danielle Brisebois - she was a child star on one of the most famous shows in America when she was a kid, All in the Family. ![]() And if I don't picture that, then I won't release it.
